About the event
The MHFA England adult two day course certifies delegates as adult mental health first aiders (those working with young people can attend a separate MHFA youth course). Delegates will gain an understanding of what mental health is and what factors can affect it. The course teaches practical skills and develops in them the confidence to support a person who needs assistance.
Who?
The course is suitable for those who want to gain skills in having a non-judgmental conversation, to recognise the signs and symptoms of a range of mental health issues and to guide a person towards the right support.

There is no formal assessment for this course but you must complete all sections of the course.
Certification?
After successful completion of the course you will receive a Mental Health First Aider certificate from the MHFA.
